About Picturae

An ever growing collection of engaging art assets for use in world language classrooms. Picturae was made possible through the generous backers via a Kickstarter campaign and it's our intent to continue to offer assets for free use in educational settings. All images are released through the Creative Commons license below which means you are free to use and remix these images in your classrooms.

 

Picturae assets are drawn primarily from resources created for the VERBA Language game created by The Pericles Group and from their curricular offerings such as Operation LAPIS.

 

All the images are downloadable in a .png format so that they balance file size with compatibility across platforms.
